Allergies!!:/

Ugh! It's the time of year for allergies! AND I HAVE THEM!!!!!!! I have an awful cough and stuffed nose! I HATE not being able to breathe through my nose! I cant sleep so I'm exhausted! Really wish they would go away!

The most important thing in my house is...

The most important thing in my house that i would grab first is a basket. Then I would put a picture of my grandma and grandpa and put it in the basket. Next, a necklace that was my great grandmas and her jewelry box. Next, a pair of clothes and the t-shirts in the top of my closet from my childhood and put it all in the basket. Then as many pictures as possible, and I would break my window and jump out with the basket in my hands. After I jumped out I would set the basket down far away from the house, run to the back and open the fence for my horses could be let loose. That is what I would do if my house was burning down.

Last six weeks is almost here:)!!

Very excited that the last six weeks is almost here:)!!!! There are some downers about the next year though... We have to start taking EOC and STAR... :/ not excited about doing that.... BUT im very happy that summer is almost here:)... Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):)

Swimming;)

Well yesterday our dryland group for swim got in trouble from Thursday and Friday. I wasn't there either of those days so I know it wasn't me. We got a huge talk about how they are tired of seeing some of us not trying and some of us who stand around while playing frisbee. We now have the responsibility/or punishment of making the mat rack as neat as possible and organizing weights. We also got a talk about the people who were griping because they didn't get moved up to the next group. He said he doesn't care how slow or fast we are, it matters about the effort you put into it. That's pretty much what all he said....

Weekend!!!!!!!!!:)

Had a boring weekend. Worked at the feed sack Friday and Saturday night. Sunday I rode my horse and then ate, slept, and went to church. It was a good night at church! That was probably one of the best things I did all weekend!

Track:)

We had our track meet yesterday! I did the 800 and the1200. I placed 5th in the 800 and 3rd in the 1200!!!! I got extremely sunburned! But I really enjoyed it! Our team got 1st place!!! We won the meet!!!!!! :) Very proud!!

Update on Libya, Japan, and sports!!:)

In Tripoli, Libya, a western airstrike took place on wednesday. They fired at the Libyan government forces' positions in Misrata. spring break:)!

Over spring break I got a new horse!:) and I went to six flags!:) and I hung out with my best friend!!!!:) It was amazinggggg:) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also got bangs:)!!! I had a LOT of funn over spring break:)

I went to Wednesday night church at Trinity Baptist. It was actually very boring. Until we started singing Glory to God and he told us to make up hand motions to it.:) Some of us just started dancing.. those including me:). Others didn't want to sing so they looked like idiots trying to do hand motions.... lol:). It was a very funn night at that one part, but the other part wasn't.. This one guy is soo rude that goes there. He thinks he can be in charge and talk about god the way he wants to. So he gets up and tells Mike to move off the stool and he sits down. He starts talking about his 2 year relationship with a girl ended.. I was sooooooooooo bored.... That was what I did last night.:)

Early Release Friday:)!

We get out early Friday for spring break...!!!!!!:) yay! soooo excited for spring break! I get to babysit Bo, Brock, and Blare!!! :) very excited!

Fridays Game:)!!

Our game Friday night was soooooo intense! It kept everyone on the edge of the seat!!!!! We lost by 3! Which means NO state:/.... We were all very disappointed. We were down by one with 8 seconds left and our guy drove in and fell because someone tripped him. They called it a travel!!!!! That was crap...  Very good game though.

Yesterday:)

Yesterday we had to do work because the high school had TAKS.. but after we finished, we played a game The game was, are teacher played a song. We had to guess the song name and the artist. Then when we went back to class we watched Eurika! That is such a good show!!!!! :))) Then we had 2 more periods. prep and English but we didn't do anything. Well that was my school day:)!

My weekend:)

My weekend was an okay weekend. Saturday at my meet, I swam like crap. So my mom, of course, yelled at me. Then Sunday, It was a little bit better. I swam bad in 2 of my events and then in my third one I went a 27. So that made it better. Then at church, it was fun:) I guess in the end my weekend was pretty good.

UIL!!!!

I got ten medals for UIL in the awards assembly today. That is A LOT!!! The package was really heavy... I didn't expect to get that many. But good job to me:)

Swim meet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a swim meet this weekend! I'm sort of nervous, but not really. I have done to many meets to be nervous. I really hope I can make it to finals in the afternoon. I will have to get in the top 16! Top 8 compete for medals. My events are the 100 breaststroke, 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 IM, and maybe a relay. Wish Me LUCK!!!!!

Yesterday & Today!!!!

Yesterday our 8th period teacher was gone. So we went back to technology wahoooo!! The whole time we just blogged and did current events. It was pretty fun! Now today I am really in technology class and athletics is next! We get to go run around the baseball fields, well technically the road around the outside of it. That makes it worse. Then we have to do a flexibility test for the state fitness test. We did the running part, pushup part and situp part yesterday... Cant wait...

We got extra break time today!!! But the teachers had a meeting and some bad news came outta that! We will have to make up those extra days. And the state isn't wavering them. ugghhh.. this stinks.. :/

What do I think we should do about the 5 weather days??

Since the weather got bad last week and the week before, we missed 5 days. What I think we should do is take out our 2 bad weather days and let the state waver the rest. It is not like we control the weather so we couldn't anything about it. If the state doesn't waver the days, and they make us go those days at the end of the year; I will be pretty mad. I would rather have gone those cold winter days than take up my nice summer days to go to school!! Maybe we could even add extra minutes to our day. I mean, 15 more min. at school wouldn't hurt anyone. Plus, it might even help us. We would have extra time to finish our homework and do other stuff. That's what I think should happen.

Not really a good day

Today is not really a good day. People are making me mad because they are being very rude. One person in particular. I'll try not to say anything to that person but it is going to be very hard. Then this person sits right behind me and starts telling people about what I told her. I'm not stupid and I know exactly what they were saying. Just hope this day gets better.

Basketball Bi-District Game!!

Are Lady hornets won Bi- District last night!! I want to congratulate them with that win! It has been a very long time since our Lady Hornets made it to playoffs!! And its the first for Coach Anderson! Congrats girls!!

I'm so glad the weather has became warm!! Finally SPRING!!!!!!!!!! That means shorts and t-shirts!! Waaaa-Whoooooo!! Bye Bye jackets and jeans!

Happy Valentines Day!!

To  me this is the "couple" day. I think this day is actually very depressing for those who don't have a soul mate. My parents laughed at me when I told them this, this morning. My mom goes " Well honey, I'll be your valentine." Me " No, mom that doesn't count, you have dad." lol!! :) Got to love your parents.

If gas goes to 5 dollars a gallon!? What do I thinkkk??

Gas is already high, so if we go higher, no-one will be able to afford gas. We will all start to walk, ride bicycles, or horse and carriage. We might have to convert back to the olden days... 5 dollars for a gallon of gas is very expensive. It will take over 100 dollars just to fill your car all the way. That's CRAZY!!! Absolutely NO-ONE will be able to afford gas! So the government will get no money anyways. If they want money, they just need to figure out another way to get, not from us. They have to stop spending it on stupid things!! All I have to say to that fact is, That is crazy ridiculous!

Snow tomorrow!!!

We may miss school tomorrow!! But also, I'm kind of sad.. I actually am very tired of sitting at home and not getting to see my friends.. I really wish this snow and ice would just go AWAY!! I'm soooo ready for summer!!

My week off from school!!!

What I did while I was snowed in, I slept, watched tv, ate, and sledded!! waaaaawhhooooo!! It was kind of boring after a couple of days, but I made it through!!

Reputation- Most popular kids have a reputation for being the people to "hang" with. Bad kids have reputations of being the people NOT to hang with. Some people don't even take the chance to look at people on the inside. They just glance on the outside, like what they wear. They could be sweet and wonderful, YOU just have to take a second and look. That is what reputation I want to have or hopefully already have. I don't care what people think about me, or judge me about what I'm wearing. It's whats on the inside that counts. Compassion- Ohhhh, I have a lot of compassion for the people in my life mainly my friends and family. I love all of them soooo much. This word means so much to me. It shows how much you care and love for a person. Forgiveness-YOU have to forgive and forget. That's what my grandma always said. If you care for a person, you will forgive and forget and go on with life. Trustworthiness - Trust is a big thing in my life. Lately its been extremely hard to trust some of the people in my life. If a person in your does something that angers you, that trust you had in them disappears and it is very hard to gain back.

Tournament Champs!!

We took first place in the tournament this past weekend!! The second game was very close but we pulled through and beat the tigers by 2 points! It was very exciting!!!!

District Swimming!

Wish my brother good luck tomorrow for his district swim meet!! He is 1st in both of his events!! Go kick some butt Wyatt!!!

What I want to be when I grow up... :)

I really want to get a college scholarship to UT.!!!! That is definitely my dream school. I would like to either keep swimming as I get older and become professional, but another thing i wold love to do is be a physical therapist for little kids. I absolutely love kids, so I think helping a kid would be a great job for me!

Are my parents extreme?

On CNN there is an article about extreme parenting, so I read it and I keep wondering; are my parents extreme? On this article there are reasons and ways parents can be extreme. Such as, a kid gets suspended from school, so his mother comes up to the school and brings with her gold stars and good stickers from elementary school just to show the principal how good of a student he is. Also, telling people my child is going to be an athlete when they are older, but they have no proof from a coach that they will. Maybe even making there high school senior take SAT practice test 30 times before the real test. There was also a comment on there that said" should I have my baby crawl 2 miles each day, but I can tell she is really tired just after the first mile?" Now, these things are extreme.My parents I know can be extreme at times; making me practice 24/7 and making it a hard practice because they want me to be a professional swimmer. Yes, I want to be one, but I'm not 20. I have a while before I have to train for that stuff. I especially want free time as a teen. Anyways, I'm just saying, If you want to be a good parent go read this article.

Uniforms in school:/ ??????

I say ewwww:/ I hate uniforms, they make me feel proper and sassy. Also, I'm not a very big fan of bland colors. When schools make students wear uniforms, It takes away their personality, them wanting to express their self with their clothing. And when you stick a kid in a piece of clothing that doesn't match their style, they won't be expressive and they will be quiet keeping there personality inside instead of on the out. There has to be other ways schools can fix the dress code without taking away a persons style.

Weekend!!!!!!!!!:)

I went skating this weekend! I know have bruises all over my knees, I'm kind of surprised I didn't get any on my butt... haha:) Thanks to Jenna, Ashton, and my clumsiness, I fell a million times! Most of the time I laughed when i fell haha:) Especially when Jenna lost her balance and yanked the back of my shirt and made us both fall.. Jenna needs to work on her balance skills;) What was extremely funny, was when Talor fell on a dude she was talking too! haha:) priceless:) At least I looked good doing all this thanks to Keeshia who did my hair and makeup, I looked 21! Then the next day, I had spent the night with Ashton, we walked, went to subway, and went to open gym. Then i went home and went to church:) All in all, it was an amazing weekend;)

10 or 8 hours at school? 4 or 5 Days?

Honestly, I would have to see what it would feel like before I chose on which one I would pick. The time schedule would run into other things in my day, such as swim practice. I like how the school is now. It would be way to different to change. Even though we would get an extra day off from school, we would get out at 5:00. That is to late for me! One reason why, I eat a ton and we wouldn't get food from noon to 5. That is 5 hours!! Also each class would be up to an hour long, ewwww:/. I definitely like classes being around 45 minutes long now. I really just like our normal way now, and don't want to change.

Can you get breast cancer by eating to much soy??

This story I just read is very interesting and scares me a bit ,but is good to know for your health. Soy contains estrogen, which can cause breast cancer. But people still need to include soy in their diet because it is good for you but too much can cause cancer. Flaxseed, soy and soy by products contain a lot of phytoestrogen! Even green beans, peanuts, and dates have phytoestrogen, but it doesn't have it as bad. There are studies out there that do say a high amount of phytoestrogens can prevent cardiovascular disease, and osteoporosis, but with a high amount of phytoestrogens can increase the chance of getting breast cancer and uterine cancer.

What is Patriotism???

I think patriotism is the love for your country or state. How much you devote to it. To support and do stuff for your country. Maybe even to serve in the army and die for the ones you love. There are several ways to love and care for your state or country. I guess the fantsy name for it is Patriotism.

Man declared innocent after 30 years in prison

Cornelius Dupree Jr. was sentenced to 75 years in prison in 1980 after he was convicted of rape and robbery of a 26-year old woman. Turns out he was innocent after a DNA test.

 A shoemaker spent 2 years in prison with Dupree and said he always believed Dupree was innocent. He said he has a quiet, peaceful demeanor. He was released in July for mandatory supervision, under house arrest until October. after a week DNA results came back and he was innocent.

 As soon as Dupree was free he married Selma, his fiance. They met two decades ago while he was in prison. He said" It is a joy to be free again."

 When he got out in 2004 he thought he was going home, turns out he had to go to a sex offender treatment program.

  I think that Dupree should get some of that money. The police did nothing wrong but neither did Dupree. The police arrested him because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. But Dupree stuck with the part that he was innocent. it was not all the police's fault. They did what they were supposed to do.

Im just new at this, lets see how it goes.
